Many harmony singing lessons, whether in-person, online or on CD or DVD, just have you memorize a specific harmony part to a song. This doesn’t give you the ability to figure out harmony for yourself on the songs you want to sing.

Some other singing teachers want you to learn music theory before you start to sing harmony. but we’ve found that most natural, intuitive harmony singers don’t start with theory. They just hear certain sounds in their head, and they sing the harmony notes that give them the sound they want. This is the way we teach you to sing harmony. First, we teach you the sounds you need to hear in your head. (There are only three basic notes to learn!) Next we teach you how to make those sounds happen in your harmony singing. Soon you’ll be using these notes to sing chords and build the harmony. Once you can do that, you can make your own harmony to any song you want.
